Winemaking Philosophy

The family’s philosophy has been simple, right from the outset. From the work carried out in the vineyard, to the making of the wines, they strive to achieve the best quality possible throughout the Château Lezongars portfolio. All the wines are made to show the very best expression of fruit whilst paying tribute to the surrounding terroir. Care is taken to ensure they make high quality wines that are approachable in style and demonstrate just what a ‘new wave’ Bordeaux producer can do in the region of Premières Côtes de Bordeaux.

The Wines

The Château produces wines under two labels, firstly Château Lezongars, the premium offering, and secondly Château de Roques.
